I've always believed that everyone has their own unique learning style, and everyone learns differently and at different paces than everyone else. I like to have a more relaxed style to my teaching, to help keep my students at ease. I love to see my students and friends have the courage to use their voice and express themselves. Music is a universal language and a gift that is meant to spread joy, love, and connection. Nothing is better than the feeling of being able to share that with other people. As your teacher I will be there to encourage and guide you along as you learn your instrument and voice at your own pace, because everyone is unique and on their own path. Read More

If the student does not enjoy the lesson then they will not enjoy playing the instrument! With this in mind, I make sure to enforce the joy of music and focus on the fun side of playing. I recommend students learning at their own pace. This is done by setting appropriate goals and focusing on what each student needs to reach those goals. I also like to focus on a particular genre of music that the student likes, so that they are more interested in learning to play the songs each lesson. Read More
