I studied transverse flute at Moravian College with Robin Kani from 1985-1992. From March 1996 to May 1997, I studied with Brooks De-Wetter Smith at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I studied recorder for two semesters at Moravian College with professors Dr. Paul Larson and Dr. Larry Lipkis, composer in residence and performer with the Baltimore Consort. 1994 I began to teach privately. Hello! I'm Charley, a professional musician, songwriter and educator currently based in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I studied electric bass at Berklee College of Music and have spent the last 15 years touring the world with various groups and working as a studio musician. Arias is both an avid performer and educator of the trumpet and piano. She is currently a member of the Brass Band of Appalachia based out of Bristol, VA and an active freelance musician in the Pittsburgh area. She recently performed at the William Adam International Trumpet Festival; the International Trumpet Guild Conference; and was featured as a soloist with the Appalachian State University Concert Band.
