I teach in the bel canto style as I was taught, focusing on developing a greater capacity for breath control, relaxation of the tongue and jaw, good posture, and freedom of movement. I will use a lot of coaching, affirmation, reassurance, and encouragement to fuel a student's progress and desire to stay with it.
