My Teaching consists primarily of allowing the "Student" to play and perform during the lesson time. It is about the student.. after all. I am there simply to guide and direct the student. If they come upon an area in the music that has intricacies that they are unable to overcome, I am there to assist. Another Method I find that works well is simply "Presenting the Information". It is my job as your teacher to make sure you have the information from text books, course books, videos, charts, so on and so forth, to succeed. Read More

My method involves keeping the kids engaged and inspired. Music itself is an entirely different language. We learned how to talk without books, so I think it’s equally important to teach at the beginning without books. We'll learn the basics first one step at a time. I have been inspired with music since the age of 10. My dad was a big influence being profession jazz guitarist himself. He taught me so much about the guitar and other instruments. This influence has led me to be the teacher as well with guitar, bass, piano, drums and voice, which I have been doing during these years of teaching. I want the students to have fun during the teaching sessions, having them learn what style of music inspired them, and grow on that which gives me much pleasure watching them progress, thanks Al Pignataro Read More

Each and every student will respond differently to instruction, and I am proud to say that I am extremely adaptable. I want to make sure that I am communicating with each individual in a way that they will understand and be successful with, because the student is the most important variable. I use a wide variety of pop culture, classical influence, and I make sure to provide my students with opportunities to challenge themselves and grow in many ways, including encouraging them to participate in live performaces, competitions, and composition.
