After getting my bachelor's degree in music education from University of Maryland, I taught general, band, and strings in Montgomery County in Maryland. I began teaching in 2010 as a private lesson instructor. In 2016, I began working for a teaching school in New York City. I'm now based in Northeastern Pennsylvania and looking to cultivate a community of musicians through a shared love of the craft. Method books are a great structured way to quickly get confident on an instrument, however they don't often encourage listening skills or creativity.
