I am a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2014, I graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelors of Music Education. Performing all over the country has been one of the greater music experiences of my life as a musician. Although my primary instrument is on euphonium, I am also very skilled on trombone, tuba, trumpet and saxophone. Students can expect to work from a variety of method books to study instrumental techniques, and music theory. For beginning students I prefer Hal Leonard's Essential Elements, but also work with any method book a student uses in their band class. Students will also work from the Peters/Yoder Master Theory Series. I found love when I learned to make music. I have been playing saxophone since elementary school and even focused my college studies around it, graduating with honors from Florida AM University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Jazz Studies and Commercial Music. I've had a wide range of experiences through music from Superbowl appearances to touring China as a musical ambassador for the 2008 Olympic games.
