Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I have been playing the clarinet for several years and I am very passionate about music but I have a bigger love for seeing my students enjoy music as well. I am in my last semester of undergraduate school for a major in music education. I have done church performances, hosted a recital and have performed in a trio. My methods depend entirely on where the student is beginning. If the student does not play in a school setting, I will usually start with Essential Elements. If they are playing in band, I will use whatever their teacher starts with in band and progress from there. If the student has been playing for a while and no longer can use Essential Elements, I will see what music they are interested in. Read More

Most of my experience with teaching has taken place while traveling on the road and helping individuals prepare for recording sessions. However for more than 10 years now, I've rendered my services at neighborhood schools (elementary and high school); music workshops; private homes; and local churches; working with young people as an assistant teacher, private music teacher and/ or teaching artist. The greatest lessons I have ever taught and that I believe that I can ever teach, are the importance of observation, listening, proper application and the embracing of patience while enjoying the process. I think it is very important for a student to feel confident in their work and develop patience with themselves and they're learning process. I encourage this by always making sure that positive reinforcements stays at the forefront of my approach, and setting small weekly goals that they will be able to accomplish with diligent practice and focus.
