It is a great joy to see students learn, grow, and have fun! I begin by asking the student of their goals, and eventually help them develop new goals as they explore and find their unique gifts. Students are provided with a unique, well-rounded program tailored for them, including the foundational resources and understanding needed to fly with other musicians. Music is my passion and I love to share it with anyone eager to learn. I have been playing the saxophone for over a decade, graduated with two degrees and a certificate in education and performance, and have had many experiences in wind ensembles, jazz bands, quartets, marching bands, orchestras, and various other groups. I have a lifelong commitment to teaching music and teaching the complete individual. In 1994 I graduated with my Bachelors in Music Education from Syracuse University, and continued my studies with a Masters of Science in Music Education and Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation. Through my career, i've taught music at all levels, from elementary music classes to middle and high school band, and even orchestra.
