Overview:
I am a 33 year old guitar teacher and professional Sound Designer who has been playing guitar since I was 9 years old. I work a full time job in the video game industry on M-F 9-5 and am available to teach any time after 5pm and on weekends. Please be in touch if this fits your schedule.
EXPERIENCE
Over the past 10 years I have had students ranging from 9 years old (beginner) to in their 50's (advanced). My main musical styles are rock, pop, jazz, and blues.
METHODS USED
I've always thought the best approach was to get the student playing the type of music or songs they want to the most, right from the start. Over the years I have found that as long as the student plays the style they're interested in, there is always an opportunity to implement the basics (or more advanced ways) to each lesson within a musical styles he/she is comfortable learning within and inspired by.
LESSON STYLE
My teaching style weighs heavily on making sure I'm doing my best to give the studnet material that keeps them interested in continuing to play, while teedering the border of being feasable to play yet challenging and productive.
