Overview:

I have left behind 11 years of my adventure, which I have crowned with conservatory education since I was 8 years old. Trying to understand and researching music at the intersections of other social sciences is what I enjoy the most.I think that I am a music person who loves the profession. Knowing that liking music is the greatest motivation, first of all, I made it my biggest mission to make people love it. Piano became a concept that determined my way of life beyond a passion. The way I can best explain this special way of perceiving to people is through training. I hope to see different landscapes by looking through my window and to increase this sharing exponentially.New york is like a rich music book that is the cradle of cultures. I love to be in this diversity and to instill musical backgrounds from different cultures in my students.

EXPERIENCE

Aden A. born in Istanbul Turkey in 1993. Her early musical experiences were about classical piano education started in Mimar Sinan Conservatory (2004). Award winner musician has been honored to play many art events, concerts and studios. In Istanbul, she became well known music instructor in Dore Music Academy and continued to tutor children aged between 5 -18 . Adults also was filled the schedule of hers. She worked as an art consultant in art foundations. The students that she prepared for ABRSM exams were all succesful and went for next levels. She also interested in pedagogy and music psychology in her Masters Program. Currently she is a research scholar and completing internship about neuromusicology in New York.

METHODS USED

The first lessons usually pass by understanding the student's perception of music and defining the basic building blocks of music. The piece selections progress in parallel with the person's technique and knowledge of music theory. I find the entrance to the methods considered essential in classical piano education suitable for children and young people preparing for exams. adults can freely choose what they want. With Beyer and Czerny books, which are considered as the beginning works of classical piano education, we prevent the possibility of the student's being overwhelmed with more than one source while improving the musical notation perception and technique. Detailed information on finger numbers, music theory and ear training, works and the composers of the works are also covered at the necessary points during the course. The aim in my classes is to minimize the student's need for a teacher in the long run. Apart from these, by talking about the effects of musical elements on the person, we reach a clearer understanding about style and school choices. Since my education is fed from Russian and German schools, it is important to teach them as well.

LESSON STYLE

It is important to observe the limits of human psychology by considering the stress factor. In this sense, I have quite a wide range.finger exercises and the topics discussed in the previous week are remembered at the beginning of the lesson. Although the concept of homework includes definitions that I do not find appropriate in general, it is very important for the person to work on his/her own between the two courses. writing what is required in the notebook that I find necessary for taking notes at the end of each course required to progress. While setting goals for children in the same way, I ask them what they want. What might our goals be for the next week? Or how many can you finish? I make them question their limits with questions such as: In the continuation of the lesson, we proceed by taking notes with a pen on the hardcopy note.
