ABOUT
Degrees / Training / Special Info:

BA, Towson University, Audio/Film and Sound Production and Design AA, Essex Community College, General Studies

Classically trained on piano, self taught on guitar and ukulele.

Overview:
I am an instructor, singer-songwriter and music producer. I love to teach others what I have learned through the many years of study. I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Audio/Sound Design and Film. I am a classically trained pianist and self taught guitarist and ukulele player. I have written music that has been aired on the radio, Spotify and iTunes. My music has been featured in blogs and magazines as well as podcasts. I have had the opportunity to tour nationally and internationally. It has been a passion of mine as it allows me to see the world we live in while doing what I love. I have performed in piano bars, cafes, churches, restaurants, and charity events as well as festivals throughout the country.
EXPERIENCE
My teaching experience dates back to when I was in college. I began teaching private lessons on the guitar and the piano part time for the past 7 years. I like to see how each student learns best, and what the student wants to learn in order to keep them motivated. I like to teach rock and pop music, improvisation, songwriting as well as ear training. This also helps with practice sessions. I like to encourage students to write their own original material to help them with applying what they have learned and to encourage creativity. I am always looking for students of all ages!
METHODS USED
For beginning students, I like to give them a solid foundation of music theory and help them to learn their instrument, teaching them chords, posture and scales. I use my own lesson plans as well as a method of books and other teaching materials. These are the essentials. Once a student understands the fundamentals and gets a firm grasp on them I like to branch out and find out what they are interested in learning as well as their goals. Whether that be songwriting, or learning a certain style of music, I would then direct my teaching toward the goals of the student to keep the lessons fun and engaging.
LESSON STYLE
I love to see my students succeed and develop in their passion for music! It is important to me that each student learns at their own pace by setting certain goals for each student. My teaching style has so much to do with learning about the student and what the student is interested in musically. I like to meet each student where they are at whatever level they are at. After a lesson I leave a student with their practice goals for each week and when we meet for the next lesson we go over the practice goals and move on to the next learning session. Tailoring lessons to the students interests is very important to me to keep things fun.

My daughter wanted to learn how to play the piano, we heard of Adryelle through a friend and decided to sign her up. We were not dissapointed! My daughter has learned so much about music, not just the essentials, but how to compose her own music as well. She continues to write her own songs and it has been a fun experience for her.

Adryelle is a very patient instructor and explains things well. She helped me understand the guitar better than I already did. She is a great choice if you want to learn the guitar!

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
