Attended the Florida State College at Jacksonville for Piano performance, I have been teaching piano for 10 years and would love to help you achieve your musical goals!
Overview:
I teach classical piano along with music theory and technique. I attended Florida State College at Jacksonville, majoring in Piano performance. I have teaching experience with those as young as 4 years old and those reaching their senior years. Feel free to contact me, looking forward to having a great time making music with you!
EXPERIENCE
Dynamic Musician and pianist. 10 years of teaching experience, 19 years of performance experience in classical piano, pop music within restaurant gigs and church music.
METHODS USED
I teach using Alfred's Basic Lesson Book series for sight-read pieces and Fingerpower exercise books for technique. All students are also welcome to bring music they would like to learn (movie pieces, pop songs etc.) to help enhance their learning and performance experience.
LESSON STYLE
Each student progresses at their own pace, and my teaching style focuses on setting achievable goals for each student. I also will incorporate fun and recognizable pieces to encourage the student to progress, while also learning the theory neccessary to build them into capable musicians.
