I am a very inspirational teacher who loves classical music. I want to share my love and knowledge of music with my students. I am a man’s choir director, concertmaster and chamber soloist. I graduated from Kyrgyz State Music College in Kurgyztan. In 2014 I grduated Portland State University with diploma of Bachelors of Art in Music. In 2011 I participated in a master class with Italian pianist Maurizio Barbozo. In 2012, I also participated in a master class with a Italian Pianist Antonio DiCrisofano. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2007, I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance. My teaching experience began in 2010, I have taught children from the age of six to eighteen, beginners to advanced players. I liked to focus on developing: 1) Right relaxed hand/fingers 2 ) Playing with separate hands (to master non legato and then legato 3) To master how to produce beautiful tones and intonation by touching keys 4) Experience different styles of music (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern)
For the beginning students, I use Alfred's Basic Step by Step books. This covers the following: 1) Explains how piano produces sound 2) Teaches notes on keyboard and in a notebook 3) Focuses on ability to learn the rhythm, pitch and articulation 4) Introduces solo repertoire from different styles of music I want to teach my student to love music.
I am a very patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging teacher who makes learning music interesting. My goal for students is to help them become well rounded musicians with a love for the art. I encourage my students by setting reachable goals, once one goal is met, we move on to the next. I understand that each student is unique, with individual learning style.
