BA Duquesne University, Voice Performance
2009: Arion Award for Choral Excellence
I am a young but very experienced instructor and vocalist. I am currently completing my vocal performance degree at Duquesne University. When not teaching, I perform with the Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Chancel Choir, and I cantor Mass at St. Benedict the Abbot in Peters Township and St. Louise de Marillac in Bethel Park. I have been teaching privately for three years, and have worked with David's Music House and Accelerando Music Conservatory.
I have been teaching since 2012. Consistently, my students have been privately instructed in voice, guitar and piano. Though many of my students are elementary aged, I am also highly capable with teenage and adult students. My methods and personality ensure that every student receives the specialized attention and specific instruction that they want and deserve.
As a classically trained musician, my approach blends elements of text instruction with experiential learning, allowing for a deeper level of understanding and processing of the materials and skills necessary to become a skilled musician.
I teach because I love it. My style of teaching largely aims to deepen the student's appreciation for the arts and to impart my own love of music onto them.
