I have been playing Guitar and Bass for eight years , informal teaching for seven and professional teaching for two. My personal musical background and specialties are in Blues, Modern Metal, Classic Metal, Jazz, Jazz improve, Modern Jazz, Punk, Rock, Melodic, and Country. Ear & Song Writing trained at Were Bird Studios, over my musical career I have composed over one hundred original tracks along with ghost writing for various artist of various genres. Music is my one true passion which more then anything I love to share with the world and new on the rise musicians. Nothing is more pleasing then seeing the fire in the eyes of a new musician finally having a break through moment. For me its not just about the music, being about to give someone a skill that can truly change their life forever is an amazing thing to be able to be a part in. If given the honor of showing you the amazing would of music I promise to guide you as best as I can.
My teaching experience branches back about seven years informally, and two years professionally. In 2014 i began giving private lessons for both individual musicians and full bands in studio prep. I have taught all ages and skill levels with the main focus on improving skill levels, building instrument confidence, and simulating the creativity of new and upcoming song writers. I have been a ghost writter for multiple bands over the last year and have written a total of 100 original tracks over my entire musical career. But above all things the real experience needed to teach your student is keeping them both engaged in the lessons and there instrument of choice and that is were i can really shine. i find that having innovative and creative approaches to playing is what makes the difference between a Teacher and a personal music guide to take you through all of the wounderful steps of becoming a real musician.
Let start from the ground up! With a beginner guitarist or bassist I want to both keep them excited about learning and teach the the fundamental necessary structure required to develop into a one of a kind musician. I use finger training and strengthening techniques to get the students physical ability in tip top shape, along with innovative chord ideas and mental understanding techniques. Most importantly by the end of every lesson even the first one I leave my students with a cool riff to play to show them that what they are learning is truly working, I believe this will keep students engaged in the learning and keep them working harder for the next lesson. Instead of working from boring books I like to jump right into the genre that student is most excited about and imply techniques from other genres along the way! Along with this I like to give a bit of historical knowledge and opinions so the student truly learns the roots of what they love the most.
I want to build a course that reaches your every desire of whatever musical path you decide to take. Instead of just teaching the basics I run my courses like a college every student chooses a major genre to want to play and a minor. From those two genres I add on additional genres to touch of in the course to make your new found musical ability that mush more unique. For example, If you where to pick Jazz and Modern Metal I would also then want to touch on Progressive rock and Country to ensure that your future original composition will sound like no one else's. I don't just want to teach you music I want to give you a skill you will love till the day you leave the known universe.
