I have Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from University of Colorado, and have 2 Master of Music degrees in Violin Performance and Chamber Music from University of Michigan. I have extensive experience as a performer and a teacher, and have lots of experience in Chamber Music as well as solo appearances.
I have taught private students since 2003, and am trying to expand my studio in Boston area. I have studied with numbers of top professors in the nations, and have participated in many summer festivals including Cambridge International String Academy in England and Nyack Summer Festival in New York. I have played in masterclasses by eminent professors such as Ani Kavafian, Joseph Kalichstein, Mikhail Kopelman, and Gyorgy Pauk.
I use different methods depending on each student.
For younger stuents, I focus largely on basic technique in order to develope solid foundation. For older students who are possibly getting ready for auditions and competitions, I focus not only on technique, but also on polishing up musical ideas.
