Overview:
I'm a passionate and dedicated instructor who loves to work with kids all ages and adults and sharing my love of music . In 2007 I earned my Bachelor on Viola performance in my country (Guatemala) I am currently getting my Master's in Music Performance in Lamont school of music. Be a musician it was been one of my best experience in life from learning , teaching and travel all over the world . I have had the opportunity to play with Orchestras in Chicago area , Nashville area and Denver area. I have had the opportunity to have a master class with Yoyoma
EXPERIENCE
My teaching expedited started in my country . I was a violin and Viola professor in the Conservatory of Music in Guatemala , I have all ages and levels students from beginners to advanced. I have always have a passion of music and I love to share and make it easy for my students . I had my own private studio since 2007 till present . I like to give the student technique because it's a good resource that will help them everyday, at the Same time I'm always motivating my students to keep going , encourage them to join a ensemble . I prepare my students with good technique and great and unique interpretation for any auditions.
METHODS USED
Well I have always thought every is different and I will always use different methods for each individual. But I usually use for beginners String Builder (Samuel Applebaum) All for strings Suzuki For intermediate I used the same books but more advanced it will be Suzuki 3 or 4 it depends of the student And advanced I will like to hear them play first and from there decide what do they need . I have always give all my students scales in every class because it's so important and will help them to have better foundations.
LESSON STYLE
I have always be so positive with my students I love to see them progress of course in their own pace it's not rushing they will get where they want to but they need to do it the right way . Because if not they will get stock and we don't want that. My students still playing and actually join Orchestras. I always motivate and let them have fun I believe Anyone can play an instrument you need to be perseverant and have a lot of discipline. To become a great musician require many sacrifices just like any other career.
