I have had the pleasure of teaching for the past 5 years publicly and privately. I have lead masterclasses and group lessons as well as private lessons and large ensembles. I teach my students the fundamentals of the instrument heavily as it helps provide the foundation for all musical concepts. I. have had the pleasure of performing with Symphonic Bands, Orchestras, Jazz Bands, and combos during my time at school helping me to demonstrate and teach various styles. I have been fortunate enough to perform with the country band Lady A (formerly Lady Antebellum), DJ GRiZ, at the world series (where my arrangements were performed), and at Busch Gardens as Performer. I hope to use these experiences and knowledge to help prepare all of my students to become the best musician that they can be.

Classical Students: We will Start with basics: Breathing Posture/Playing Position Long tones, Articulation Scales Music theory Then progress into more advanced topics: Musicality tone phrasing advanced music thory composition and arranging Then solo, band and orchestra literature will be introduced Elementary Intermediate: Usually standards Advanced: More contemporary music Jazz and other styles: All beginning methods will be the same as Classical students with Jazz methodology adopted: Scales: Blues, Dorian, bebop etc. Jazz theory Basic Improvisation techniques Jazz Standards
