Overview:
I am a very creative musician and singer with an incredible passion for imparting wisdom to upcoming and improving musicians and singers. I've loved music ever since I could hum a tune and snap my fingers, and it has always been my greatest mode of expression. I started college majoring music composition and theory, but left after a year to join the Air Force. While serving, I traveled to many different countries performing and teaching around the world. I am a firm believer that your journey with your gift develops on its own, it only needs the steady guidance of someone who's walked the path.
EXPERIENCE
I grew up around music, so it is a huge part of my life. I have been playing the drums, piano, and organ for over 20 years, and singing even longer and teaching/coaching/instructing for 10 years. I have performed in (literally) thousands of events, including concerts, church and memorial services, weddings, funerals, parties, theme park openings, and national/international conferences across many states and countries, to include NY City/State, WA, TX, NE, GA, FL, NC, VA, MD, NJ, PA, IA, DE, CT, and also in Germany, Japan, England, and Qatar, with over 3,000 students/mentees. I am also the Co-Founder and President of my own Music/Media Production company.
METHODS USED
I have always believed that music is a conversation between the musician and the audience, and the instrument is the interpreter. With this in mind, with any age, I start with a regular conversation. Knowing the passion, interest level, and motivation of the students helps me create a method of teaching that is specific to the individual. I also learn their experience and knowledge level. I then let the student show me their skills by playing a little, allowing them to loosen up and get comfortable with me, while I analyze and access strengths and weaknesses. This almost always leads to a beginning that includes stick control and rudiments (or in the case of singing, breathing control and posture). From their, we build include more foundational techniques (spending time on each as necessary) until we're ready to transition to the next phase.
LESSON STYLE
I am full of energy and love learning as much as I can, but I also understand that full and in depth skill requires time and a certain level of patience and consistency. I relay this to students by repetition (specifically of principles), though I keep it fun and exciting by varying the application. Once the principle is fully grasped, we move on. I also give light, yet fun x22homeworkx22 assignments to keep the student engaged and thinking about music outside of the lesson. It also gives the student a chance to apply what they've learned, which creates a deeper connection to the lesson

Anthony is not only talented, but a GREAT teacher. He is patient, polite, enthusiastic, positive, and very inspiring. We simply can't say enough kind things about him. My son had practice after a long day of school and he always looked forward to his lesson, despite how tired he was. After lessons, my son was always eager to keep practicing. We loved him! As my son put it, "There are people that know a lot of stuff, but aren't good teachers. Anthony knows a lot and is an awesome teacher!"

I have had the privilege of working with him a few times. He is very talented and is a great teacher. He is patient with you and is well educated on music of all kind. I have had the chance to be coached vocally by him. His arraignment of notes and songs are just brilliant and I would recommend his services as you will get the best. He will give all he has and it will be nothing but excellence.

Mr. F produced my gospel debut single. He went above and beyond with professionalism and timeliness, and patience. He even went as far as lending his voice for background vocals. I am forever appreciative of the care and level of excellence he extended to me.
