I`m very passionate and while I have not been working very long I have a lot of knowledge. In 2018 I graduated from Buchanan high-school, where I was in the Orchestra for about seven years and I was in the choir for about one Year. Before I had been diagnosed with brain cancer and had to move my main instrument from the violin to the voice, which I have been practicing for over 5 years now. While It might not seem like a long time it is and I can see a change. Plus it didn't help that I had outside help with my voice and how I sing.
I don`t have as much experience as some other people but, I am very passionate and have a lot of knowledge of music in general. I originally was in orchestra for about for seven years and choir for about about one year. While I was in both orchestra and choir I participated in a lot of festival's and while my teacher was very set in set in her ways her always pushing us made us better at are craft. While I was in school I really didn`t have a good work ethic, while I was able to play well with others it defiantly showed when I played or sang on my own.
My methods might not be what people want but there probably what they need. I would start teaching them just basic theory if there beginning or even if there a little bit more along they probably still do need theory and don't know it. For everyone I would recommend practicing a lot because while you don't have to practice it shows and you take a lot longer to level up, plus it helps not make you as anxious because if you cant even dream to preform IN front of people unless you are jus numb in your emotions and don't care,
My teaching style Is not the most liked because I am all about the basics, and when I feel like there ready I would have them start to prepare for there first performance. Once there done with there performance they will be acknowledged for the growth and progress that they have made over the months. Once they have their performance done I would have them select music that they like so there not bored with other music and are actually happy about what they are singing, but they would also be challenged with a skill they have not learned yet.
