My teaching experience spans my entire life and involves ALL AGES in group and private instruction and tutoring.  In addition, I have been teaching consistently Online, in my home studio and in facilities since 2011, including the in The Arlington School District for 7 years in both group and private classes. I have Many specialties: 3 & 4 year olds have their own unique curriculum complete with lovable animals and characters with ecstatic games so that they never know that they are learning. Elementary thru High School students learn through a hysterical curriculum complete with unique personalities, ghosts and animals. My Adults, for which there is no age limit, are always astounded by what they can play in a short amount of time! In addition I have seminars and short courses for specific focus training for pianist, organist, as well as soloists, choirs, choir directors and vocalist.  And all have the flexibility to adapt to the goals and personality of the learner. In addition to the above, I also teach and tutor in reading, phonics, math and typing.

I have worked with many music methods and numerous curriculums: Alfred, Faber, Piano Pronto, Hal Leonard, Bastian, Eric Steiner Rice, Faber, Dogs and Birds, Mr. Everybody's Musical Apt., Sandy Hoffman, Carol Tournquist etc. to name a few.  I start out with a general introduction and progress to choosing the core curriculum according to the student's ability and desire in music.  Music is a vast Science and lessons plans will be created around your goal in music rather than a rigid method, though we will adhere to curriculum to be sure that we are thorough and you receive a complete music education.  I have general curriculum, genre' specific curriculum such as Jazz, Blues etc. as well as curriculum geared toward training Church Musicians. To accomplish your goals we will focus head on in the direction of your choice, whether it be classical, sight reading, theory, song prep, ear training, chording, hymns, contemporary christian, gospel, popular, preparing for competitions or performances etc. - however I will make sure that you are given a well rounded curriculum.
