My teaching experience dates back to my time in high school where I taught a few of my peers in informal lessons, this evolved into adopting a few more formal students that I taught through highschool until they reached an advanced level. I have also helped several of my students grow into songwriting outside of just playing an instrument. I also have experience teaching basic music theory. And have played and love teaching many genres. I believe music is universal and should be enjoyed by all and am excited to teach students of all ages.

My methods revolve wholly and completely around my students wants and needs. Generally for beginner students I will start by going over the basics, a small amount of essential music theory, how to read tabs and chord diagrams, and the different components and notes on a guitar or bass, before moving onto the fun part I’ve found students tend to want to practice and play more when they are learning songs they love the most. This mean I will learn any songs that you love and I will help you advance through guitar by helping you learn the music you love.
