Overview:
I am a professional entertainer and teacher with over 27 years experience in the music industry. I started performing professionally at the early age of 7. I enjoy mentoring the needs of every individual student and watching their faces light up when " they get it" and the hard work starts to pay off. As a teacher it is always my goal to help my students develop their craft and protect their instrument so that they can have a life long career in music business and be the best that THEY CAN BE!
EXPERIENCE
I have performed all over the world on luxury cruise lines and have even had the joy of singing at The White House. So, not only do I teach but I have a great understanding of the entertainment business and can help my students to nail that audition and land the job or role they are looking for. My students appreciate having a teacher who understands where they are coming from and that I can help them get over whatever hurtles are in their way.
METHODS USED
The pedegogy I teach is called Mix- True Belcanto. The beauty of this technique is the it puts the vocal registers in perfect balance allowing the singer to apply it to any type of music they wish to sing and not have to be limited.
LESSON STYLE
I absolutely love helping other artists develop there voice. I teach in a very relaxed enviroment with a " judegement free zone" style. I am here to have fun with you and help you reach all of your goals. If you think you are tone def and can't sing 9 out of 10 times I can help you become a better singer. Most people who think they are tone def are actually NOT . They are just not used to using their voice out of their speaking range and need to work on developing it. Whether a novice or a professional I can help you.
