Hello, My name is Brandon B. I have been a Professional Saxophonist and Pianist for over 10 years in the music business. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the industry and now I look forward to working with you. No matter if your goal is to play as a hobby or someday perform on the main stage, I am going to share with you the necessary knowledge to achieve those goals. Not only will we discuss the foundation’s of music theory and fundamentals, We will also discuss techniques needed to create opportunities short and long term in the music business and so much more.
Although, I have been working as a pianist and saxophonist in the music business for over a decade. I have had the chance to work with students for just as long! My earliest experience of teaching dates back to my high school career. I became section leader in my high school marching band my freshman year and was selected to teach a 25 student fully credited music theory class before I graduated my senior year in high school. I am very excited to continue teaching, motivating and inspiring a new wave of upcoming musicians.
I have developed and shaped my method for teaching based upon my experience performing professionally and methods I have obtained at Berklee College Of Music and Atlanta Institute Of Music And Media. Our weekly lessons will be personalized to specifically target your needs and skill level. We will use various online learning modules, powerpoint's and practice method books to retain information and achieve monthly goals. We will cover fundamental principles of music theory and composition, Ear Training, Improvisation techniques, and more.
Regardless, If your goal is to produce tracks for video games and commercials or impress your family at the next gathering. I am looking forward to equipping students with the necessary knowledge in performance, theory and business to take students to the next level. Private lessons will be specifically and carefully designed to match the needs of the student individual skillset and learning style.
