I am passionate and a movitaved instructor who loves working students and sharing my talents with students. in 2017 i garaduated from portales new mexico with my bachelors of arts degree in muisc. i played in the college band and i had the oppurinity to play at the at&T stadium,as as well march in the st.patricks day parade in Dublin ireland in 2019. I am a muisc teacher at a local school and looking foard to share my love of music with the studnets that i teach and getting to know each students.
my teach experience dates back after my college days i was a long term subsitutre teacher for band for a year and then i got offered the choir and band teacher position in bloomfield where i am currently survieing as the choir teacher and the band teacher but band more of my forte. ithe students are my encouragment to go to work everyday and making the connections with them and working together as a class and making sure that they get the love of music that i have expeinced in my life time....................
For beginning students who are childeren, i would start them off with sound and innovations once the studnet gets the fudementals of the insturements and the tone i move them on to a solo repertoire that would be apporpriate for their first recital preformacne for the adults learns i find out hat they are intrested in and give them a certain repetoire to work on and practie. My insturctions is accordlingly to keep you engaged and have fun no matter what leve your playing ability is. i think having fun in music is important as well.
Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students smiling after accomplished a piece or segement that we work on in class. it is important to teach each students progress at their own pace. I ecourage setting goals for my studnets. Acknowledging accomplishments helps a students succs as a musician and a desire to progress by trying to find out what inspiseres studnets i can lean that towards my instruction towards them and what more important to accomplished that is what ever they are intrested in.
