My passion for music comes from childhood, learning the first chords on the guitar with my father. From then on, I began to study classical guitar in conjunction with a repertoire of Brazilian and Latin music. Later I deepened my studies on the 7-string nylon guitar and also on the semi-acoustic guitar, especially in the language of jazz and blues. I completed a bachelor's degree in popular guitar at the most prestigious institution in the city of São Paulo, FASM. During this period I always played and sang with myself and took voice lessons with several professionals. More recently (2023) I graduated in Jazz Vocals at Loyola University. Professionally I directed music for several shows, composed original soundtracks for different media, in addition to having made hundreds of recordings in third party projects, worked as a sideman and released 3 albums with my own compositions ("Passos Largos", "Sinuosa" and " Xadrez")
I believe that all of us are musical, even if some have more innate talent than others. Curiosity, patience and dedication, addition to good references, are key aspects that translate into growth and achievement of goals for all of us. In class, I try to work within the dreams and motivations of each student, approaching repertoires that translate the students' interests in the best possible way. I always try to work on the theoretical/formal part in conjunction with the development, above all, of the ear and ear training. I navigate through different repertoires. From pop to folk, jazz, country, Brazilian and Latin music, among others. I've been giving music lessons since I was 16 for groups or individual students, as well as masterclasses and workshops on music history, styles and subjects involving music analysis.

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. I always like switching between different approaches, such as singing ideas, using claps to exercise rhythm in the form of games, besides the playing itself.
