I am passionate about teaching as well as workng with students in order to share my passion for music. I am currently a music student at Florida Atlantic University. I perform with the FAU wind ensemble as we as the orchestra and chamber ensembles. I've had the honor to play with the 2015 Florida intercolligiate band.
Music has always felt right whenever I perform. I decided in high school to be a music major after participating in many honor festivals. I have leaned a numerous amount of knowledge from my clarinet teachers in the past few years and know that there is always something else to learn. I have dedicate time to a local high school by working with their clarinets as well as coaching small ensembles. I am have experience in playing most of the voices in the clarinet family.
I create a curriculum based on the age andlevel of the student. My lessons include the areas where the students will improve on musically and techinally as well. Specific method books may be required after some time.
I try to listen to my students first in order to see what they would like to learn first. For younger students, having fun is a key point in my teaching. I also work using method books for more advanced and intermidiate students.
