I started playing the flutes when I was 5 years old. 18 years later I still play and love it!. I've been teaching for the past 5 years with beginners and advanced flutists. Mostly focusing on classical music and the theory. and as I always say: it just requires some practice. comencé a tocar las flautas a los 5 años de edad. 18 años despues aún lo hago y lo amo. He estado enseñando los últimos 5 años con principiantes y flautistas avanzados. Principalmente enfocandome en la música clásica y la teoría. Y como siempre digo: sólo requiere práctica
My musical experience begins 18 years ago, I began to play in a symphony orchestra. I was also part of different bands and groups where the instruments I focused on were always flutes. With the experience that I gained, I began to teach beginner flute players, always taking keeping in mid that practice makes the master. Mi experiencia musical comienza hace 18 años, empecé a tocar en una orquesta sinfónica. También formé parte de diferentes bandas y grupos musicales dónde los instrumentos en los que me enfoqué siempre fueron las flautas. con la experiencia que gane empecé a dar clases a flautistas principiantes siempre teniendo en cuenta que la práctica hace al maestro.
For beginner students I find out their learning style before I assign them a method book. The method book I choose will depend on their learning style. As they progress I incorporate music that they are familar with and songs that they would like to play. For Intermediates and Advanced students I plan my lessons according to their interests and what they would like to achieve from taking lessons. I aim to please. If the student is happy I am happy too. con estudiantes principiantes encuentro su Estilo de estudio antes y les asignó un método. el método de estudio que elija va a depender del estilo de aprendizaje, mientras progresan incorporó música que sea familiar y que les gustaría tocar. para intermedios y avanzados planeo mis lecciones de acuerdo en sus intereses. si el estudiante está feliz yo estoy feliz
My greatest delight is to see my students progress. I set goals based on the students ability. I also encourage them to bring music that they want to learn to class. If it is beyond their capabilities I can re-arrange it to suit their appropriate level.I have the gift of patience and can accommodate slow learners.
