Overview:
I'm a dedicated teacher who loves to teach and help my students explore and experience different emotions and feelings through piano playing, for them to have an aesthetic sensitivity not only to music but life itself.
EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching piano for more than 30 years. Held student's recital at the Philippine Consulate in Manhattan, New York. I was an interim Music director in one of the catholic church in Queens, NY and presently the choir director of the contemporary choir in downtown Manhattan church.
METHODS USED
My method of teaching attunes to the student needs, and flexible when it comes to pieces but I always try to integrate classical music for I believe that it is basic foundation in piano playing. Sometimes I let the student choose any music she likes to learn and try to modify accordingly to the student's level.
LESSON STYLE
I have been teaching piano to several children from different kinds of families. Each of them have different goals and dreams, and with this I try to be flexible but make them achieve the highest level of performance.
