I've been teaching singing lessons for over a decade, to all students levels and ages, and I saw them successfully reaching their musical goals with confidence and passion, and that has been very rewarding for me. I always start from a very solid foundation on vocal technique, breath control, to move with expanding their vocal range, stamina, and vocal agility. I encourage my students to challenge themselves in performances, and auditions, so we also focus our work on preparing an appropriate repertoire, working on stage presence, performance skills, and stage fright, if any.
For beginning students, who especially are children, I normally start from the fundamentals of voice technique in a very informal and fun way, so the students can enjoy the process of learning with ease and stress-free. When the student has a grasp of the basics, we start building a repertoire and working more specifically on performance skills. With adults, I generally try to understand first their goals, their specific needs, and guide my instruction accordingly to maintain the lesson engaging, interesting and fun, no matter their ability level.
I prepare my students to succeed as performers and human beings, guiding them to find their true potential, going beyond their self-limitations. I work ONLY with WOMEN, of any age as young as 4/5 years old till adults, no matter what is their previous experience with music. As Alumna of one of the best music school in the world, Berklee College of Music, majored in Songwriting and Voice Performance, I teach my students Berklee's method combined with my personal experience and international background, since I'm originally from Milan, Italy. I prepare students for auditions, (I saw some of them winning music competitions), I teach them breathe management, healthy vocal technique, how to efficiently practice and learn songs, stage presence and performance skills. For the ones who aspire in pursuing a professional career in the music field, I teach contemporary harmony, ear training, songwriting and music business, since I also completed a Master in Music Business at the Catholic University of Milan, and worked at major label EMI Music Italy. I love to see my students growing their skills and their joy in singing, and me learning from them too! I love to give my best to all of them, and I love the challenge of knowing that is also my responsibility to grow their motivation and engagement as coach! I never understood the true importance of a mentor, till the moment I became one, and I witnessed the incredible empowerment for students who started to believe in themselves only because a mentor was believing in them first.
