I have been teaching and performing on Bass Guitar and Double Bass for over 40 years. My teaching concentrates on tone production and the ergonmics of playing bass guitar.
I have been privileged to perform with jazz greats Doc Sevrinson, Marian McPartland, Dave Brubeck, Clark Terry, Eddie Daniels, Marvin Stamm and Zoot Sims. I spent the 80s touring nationally with a rock band and later a jazz rock trio.
The method I use is my own, developed after decades of teaching students. This is tailored to the student on an individual basis to help them achieve their musical goals and aspirations.
Lessons are tailored to helping the student achieve the musical goals they desire. This can be from a custom tailored lesson profile to traditional academic approach.
