Overview:
I have been performing and teaching for over 40 years, I am very passionate about my teaching and students improve very quickly. My lessons focus on learning the instrument and how music works in regards to harmony, melody and rhythm. My student learn to read and I also put a strong focus on improvisation. I have been fortunate to have studied and played with some of the best musicians in the world and my goal is to pass along my knowledge from those experiences. While I teach guitar and bass I also specialize in instruction on fretless electric bass.
EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching since I returned from Berklee, in 1978.
METHODS USED
I have my own teaching system developed over the years and hundreds of students, my method is based on the Berklee teaching methods passed on from my private and classroom teachers as well as my experience as a performer and composer.
