Overview:
I have been a student of the art since I was 11 years old.  I studied at Five Towns College and have since performed with all manner of ensembles including Musical Theatre, Rock and Pop, Metal, Blues, and Opera.  As well as teaching and performing, I am also an experienced guitar technician and repair professional.  Music, and my commitment to my students has been my life for as long as memory serves.  As a professional, I have been on tour, performed on stages, played in the studio, and taught students with an unfettered passion.
EXPERIENCE
Teaching has been my profession since before my college days, when I begun by teaching guitar lessons to classmates.  Since college, it has been my primary occupation.  I lead by example as a musician, and I encourage regular quality practice and cultivate an attitude of discipline and a drive to greatness.  A cross-discipline in music is my primary approach to teaching, and I make a point of educating my students in how to communicate with other musicians.
METHODS USED
As a multi-instrumentalists, I use a cross disciplinary approach even when a student is only learning one instrument.  I do make use of method books for beginners, and the specific book depends upon the instrument, but I have my own methods and materials which I utilize in my lessons.  Building a repertoire is encouraged, and I use the material to assist in instructing in theory and musical communication.  My students are taught to be self-sufficient, by way of practice, study, and cultivating an "ear."
LESSON STYLE
I believe the student is there to find a passion.  It is so important to find love for the art, and this is what I try to provide.  A lead-by-example approach is the core of what I do.  I "draw" the student toward their own voice.  It is imperative to help them find their own "style."  The greatest musicians are true originals; and so I do not encourage my students to follow in my footsteps, but to blaze their own trails.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
