I have been working in the music industry and teaching for over six years. I have lived in London, New York City, and Los Angeles, and have worked in each city, leading my experience to be unique and easily adaptable. I have found a lot of success with students when I am consistently encouraging them to perform in front of Pias and family. This is how I became a music, professional, and hope to get my students there also. I’m excited to bring in some new students and starting the musical journey with them.
For my younger to play games with them that teaches them the fundamentals of music theory while also having fun during the lesson. For my older students I like to see what gets them excited during the lesson and move forward accordingly. That can be extremely different from Student to Student but I do like to stay involved with the process and positive throughout. It doesn’t necessarily matter how experience they all as my usual students get up to speed within the space of a month, if not shorter.
I really love seeing my students come into their musicianship and artistry! I know that, it is really important that each student flourishes at his or her own pace. I believe setting realistic goals keeps both myself and the students engaged throughout the experience. I want to celebrate the wins we come across as much as possible as I know that inspires a lot of people to continue. I like to tailor everything to the students needs and desires while also giving them a broad knowledge to build from.
