I'm a guitarist, pianist, flutist, singer, song writer, composer, music director and a full time music instructor for piano, guitar, flute and voice. I've been teaching for more than 17 years now. My students have professionally performed, gone to music college, won singing contests, and landed lead roles in musicals.
I’m a dedicated music teacher, passionate about helping others reach their musical goals. With almost 17 years of music mentoring experience, I have my unique way of making learning both fun and effective for students of all ages. I specialize in piano, guitar, voice and flute covering a vast musical genre from classical to musical theatre to jazz, country, rock, metal and R&B.
I teach all students how to read music, play by ear, write their own songs, and overcome stage nervousness. With twice a year recitals for all students, the students will learn to love performing on stage. I teach the students what is important to them, and at the same time I teach them what they want to learn.
My student retention rate is 90%, I keep most of my students for 5 years or more because they feel that learning is fun, and performing the things they learned in front of a real live audience fuels their desire to be the best they can be. Music is an art that is always changing, so learning music is almost never ending.
