Overview:
I am a musician, dancer, and artist from New York. I have lived in Denver since 2009, playing trombone and teaching music, art, science, and literacy.
EXPERIENCE
I play trombone in the Colorado Wind Ensemble, William and the Romantics (a 20 piece big band), and the Mile High Brass Quintet. I teach music at Broomfield Academy.
METHODS USED
I tailor lessons to students' interests, but don't neglect the fundamental building blocks of playing. I encourage creativity and experimentation, touching on a variety of musical elements in each lesson.
LESSON STYLE
Getting to know my students is what ultimately shapes my teaching style. I keep a positive attitude and use specific feedback as motivation.
