Hello, my name is Esperanta, but you can also call me 'Esper'. I am a passionate and motivated violinist of 11 years. I would love to take my talents of the violin to teaching and influencing others who wish to pursue their music skills and talents with myself as their music instructor. I started the violin at the age of 10 when attending Baycreek Middle School. I later continued the violin at Grayson Highschool. From there, I have taken my talents to perform with the chambeer orchestra as well as performing in Chicago of 2019.
My teaching as well as tutoring experience dates back to when I first commenced playing the violin. I was encouraged to tutor other classmates and friends who were having difficulty on the violin, as well as viola. My greatest accomplishment from tutoring was named, "Most Valuable Player" by my orchestra teacher my graduating year in 2019. I always had a passion in helping others and using my passion of music to help others is most desired. I encourage that students understand that motivation and enthusiasm is key to experience and skill.
Teaching strategies and experience ranges differently from each instructor. For beginners, such as children, I would start with the book series 'Essential Elements'. From experience, Leonard provides the most thorough book to grasp the ability to learn violin. Scale practice and listening sessions would also be a consideration for children as repetition is best to help the younger audience learn such an intricate instrument. As for older students, say teens and adults, I would say depending on the student themselves, I am very malleable to understand what the student wants out of 'music lessons'.
The importance of how the teacher transfers their method is dire in helping students develop and grow. Learning that each student has their own pace at learning an instrument is also very important on both sides tof the teacher and student, so using whatever to help a student grasp how to play is key. It is also very heart-warming to find out that a student used the same methods and stategies to aid in their journey of learning an instrument just like myself. It takes time because 12 years did not happen over night.
