Overview:
My journey with music began at the age of four with some of the most inspirational teachers. At that time I never imagined that music would not only become my livelihood, but also that my passion for playing and teaching would grow so strong. I focus on technique, performance, and also emphasizing the importance of musical theory. I love to share my 40 years experience, my enthusiasm for the violin and piano, and so I teachs ages 4 to adult.
EXPERIENCE
I have played the violin and piano since I was 4 years old and have spent 20 years in the State Professional Music School and Conservatory in Poland. After I graduated I was violin soloist at the Grand Opera House in Lodz, Poland. I have performed at the New Paris Opera House, the Heillbron Grand Opera, and the Messyna Opera House and many more. I have performed with such luminaries as Placido Domingo, Jose Van Dam, Franco Bonisolli, and many more. I was soloist in Zorba under the baton of Miki Theodorakis (The composer of “Zorba”) in Xanten, Germany. At the same time, I was a music teacher at the State Music School of the First Degree in Poland, where I instructed students on violin, harmony, and solfege Later in my career, I performed for Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line, which included teaching piano classes for the Royal Caribbean Academy. I have been taught violin and piano privately for 20 years.
METHODS USED
My principles of pedagogy are based on many years of performing and teaching, I have crafted my own method, especially for children. This method help to train ears while teaching proper posture and technique, which leads to correct concentration and reflection. During my lessons I always demonstrate my playing. The ultimate goal is to perform beautiful music. For older students and adults I am using professional European methods and also the Suzuki method.
LESSON STYLE
I motivate my students by being interactive. With children who are new to music, I use my personal method, which is characterized by providing knowledge while playing interactive games, which helps the children grasp music-related issues. With the older students, I try to inspire them by playing duets, accompanying them, and placing emphasis on a variety of repertoire. Some of them might even perform on the stage in the small recitals prepared by myself every year.
