I'm a professional musician who loves sharing with people my love of music. In 2018, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor Degree honored Cum Laude in Music Performance. I played a lot in Europe and United States and I'd love to share my experiences with my student to let them grow as musicians. I had the pleasure to study with great musicians and mentors as Tiger Okoshi, Lin Biviano, Andrea Tofanelli, James Genus, John Lockwood, Neal Smith and many others; plus occasionally lessons with John Patitucci, John Clayton, Victor Wooten and masterclass with Ron Carter, Rufus Reed, Christian McBride and many others.
I had years of teaching experiences back home to Italy in Upright & Electric bass and trumpet and I supported as a musicians many Berklee Faculties during their classes. I love teaching to persons of any ages, but especially young students. I believe all of us have talent to play and make music, but sometime we don't know how to approach our talent. I always push to my students to be themselves and never imitate somebody else. Every single students has different path and background, so I always change way of teaching because every students has different way of learning.
I divided my lesson in four parts: Make& find your own sound, Technique, Harmony&Ear Training, Repertoire. If you are beginner student is a different intensity and difficulty than for a intermediate or advance student, but the approach is the same. I don't care about the lesson in itself, but I care that the student create his/her own musical path. I put a lot of passion in my teaching and I work for the student outside the lesson as well; making specific backing track and exercise for the specific student or helping him/her out for get in a band or to auditioning for music schools.
When I was a kid I've never had a mentor presence in my learning experience and when I grew up and had the chance to study at Berklee I realize that good teachers let you understand that all of us are great musicians. I believe if you want to be a great musician you have to be a great teacher first. Be a teacher an important role that we need in our society and Love to be part of that role. I do what I do because I want to support to succeed my students In their goals. I want to inspire them to become great musicians and especially great human beings.
