I am an extremely passionate music teacher, specialising in exceptional tuition on the trumpet, piano and voice. I am regarded as one of the best trumpet players in the world and have performed internationally as a trumpet player. I have lived and performed music in 4 different countries playing and teaching at the highest level. I was previously head of music at a top international school in Stockholm, Sweden. I have performed with the Sydney Symphony orchestra, in the Syndey Opera House and all over the world as a trumpet player. I have also performed with some of the top jazz and big bands internationally.
I have been teaching for the past 10 years and have always been passionate and dedicated to improving a students ability and maximising their potential whether it be for fun or for a specific achievement. I was head of music at two international schools in Stockholm, I taught in 5 different schools in Sydney and I built up my own music business of over 25 students in Stockholm teaching trumpet, piano and voice. I have also held very successful summer camps in 2 different countries.
I always like to get a feel for the students ability first and then choose the right level to begin with them. I always start with some exercise work to strengthen the basics and then include a lot of fun pieces to boost the fun and satisfaction with the improvement. I am very effective at improving a players ability and enjoyment of the instrument.
I am extremely positive, encouraging and a top motivator of students who always leave my lessons satisfied and having felt they have improved and accomplished something whether it be with a piece of music or a specific technique. I am very easy going but with a disciplined and extremely effective approach and enthusiastic manner.
