I have learned from some of the best teachers in and around Los Angeles, having studied for 4+ years in the early 1990s. I love to hear good vocals. It is heaven. I love the pure, clean and raw sound. I will help you get there and stay there.
I sing live on a weekly basis and provide direction for the vocalists in my band, having done so for a total of 12+ years.
What you put into anything is what you get out of it; its the same with vocals. I customize lessons to help you get to your voice and/or stay with your voice. However, you have to know the basics and if those aren't there, that will be the initial focus.
My lesson style is customized to each student. I use whatever is in my power and abilities to teach. It's about passion and letting go. Most importantly, it has to be rewarding and fun. And it always is!
