I'm a professional Opera singer, ready and prepared to teach and share my knowledge. I studied my undergraduate senior year in Bowling Green Ohio at BGSU. I also have a piano diploma by the University of Sonora. I have had master classes and vocal training in Canada, USA and Mexico. I have more than 15 years of experience in music that I would love to keep sharing it.
I was a member of the University of Sonora choir for more than 4 years, always leading the tenor chords, helping them to achieve musicality and hearing all kinds of voices. I helped them with the piano to sing different voice melodies in different languages. When I graduated, I started to take private students, helping them with breathing and music lines. My last two students in Mexico were really greatful with me for the vocal range growth in less than 6 months.
In voice, you must think as an instrument and as a person as well. Every person is different, so the method. There are extroverted and shy persons. I am always respectful and patient with my student's pace and personality. Everyone is different, so I put a lot of effort to take out the very best from my students. If I cannot help, I am very honest to tell you to change professor.
I really don't follow a specific book or tool. As I wrote before, every person is different and I always try to empathize with my students. With the Internet, the tools are almost infinite. I focus on breathing and comfort singing. I use different warming up exercises for every person, depending on their needs. I am always excited when one of my student make progress, wheter is big or small. I am very flexible and respectful with the music styles and always trying to teach healthy singing.
