I studied with two jazz masters and teach as they did. Playing is my first profession and passion and I get to do that almost every day playing music wellness programs in healthcare facilities, community centers and even private homes. I am happy to share my expertise with anyone willing to commit to the time it takes to grow as a flutist and as a musician.
EXPERIENCE
I have only taught students who have sought me out, and several did stay for years. For me teaching is secondary to my career as a performer, so any prospective students should know they can also benefit from this lifelong experience of performing music.
METHODS USED
As I mentioned I use a similar method to my teachers, which includes ear training, practice on the instrument and improvisation.
LESSON STYLE
Learning the flute is not easy, and for some learning to improvise can be just as challenging. My goal is to make the learning experience fun for the student, and to help them master their instrument and become a great improviser.
