My main goal is to make the student feel comfortable and to convey to the student that music is supposed to be enjoyable. That being said, we will work out of books and play along cd's and I do expect the student to come in prepared for each lesson.
It is important for me that the student feels comfortable with me, so I try to make sure each lesson has a specific goal, but to keep the lesson light-hearted and fun.
