I love music and sharing my joy of it with others. Teaching and performing are my passions and it's a privilege to share with others.
EXPERIENCE
My teaching experience dates back to 1988 when I began teaching. It's the greatest feeling in the world to see pupils learn to love music and grow as musicians. Teaching music in the style of interest to the student is important to maintaining interest and motivation to practice. The key is fun and enjoyment.
METHODS USED
I have a children's program designed around easy, age appropriate children's songs incorporating both solo playing and chords and strumming. For older pre teens, teens and adults, I teach in the style of music which appeals to the student's own tastes and abilities!
LESSON STYLE
Having fun as one learns their craft is of the utmost importance. Therefore it is my goal to incorporate as much material that is relevant to the student's personal tastes and goals as possible. It's also rewarding to help a student discover something new that they love!
