Overview:
I have been a performer, clinician, music ensemble director, private lesson teacher, and commercial songwriter for the past 20+ years. My passion is music, creating it, teaching others to do so, and hearing the results. I believe music has a soul all its own and it is up to us to pull music out of the sounds and noise we create. When not on the road performing or teaching, I enjoy my time at home in Harrisburg with a Cane Corso named Gyia and a calico cat named Yoko building things in my workshop.
EXPERIENCE
My teaching experience includes clinics, master classes, private lessons, and scholastic teaching. My ensembles have consistently placed well in regional/national/international competitions and my private students have successfully auditioned for such colleges as Eastman, Berklee, West Chester University, North Texas, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. My former students have appeared with such groups and organizations as The Cadets Drum Corps, David Letterman Show, LL Cool J, NFL Films, Chubby Checker, American Music Theater, and the Sidewalk Prophets.
