I’ve taught students from ages 4 – 45. I am patient with my students, and realize that every student is different and every student learns in a different way. As a result, I have created several different methods and variations off of my core lesson plan to cater toward the individual.

My lesson plan includes: Hand and foot technique, learning to read music, good practice techniques and habits, learning to play with a click track/metronome, live performance techniques, rudiments, limb interdependence, Latin, funk, rock, blues, jazz, reggae, and country styles, and charting (mapping out song structures for faster memorization of songs) which also deepens your understanding of the interworking parts of songs and how to arrange them to achieve the most effective response for your listener.
