Studied under Inez Lancaster, professional keyboard teacher in Houston Texas.  Played Professionally for 27 years before becoming a full time teacher.My teaching experience dates back to the 1980's. Encouraging regular practice and choosing songs that fit the student are keys to a great experience....I have been teaching in homes since 2006. Before that I worked in a music store where I worked with music educators as my customers for 11 years. I gained lots of insights into teaching in that time.

Method books I use include:Alfred's,Faber, chord books, and student choices....30 mins child, 45 mins adult in your home......concentrating on method books,chords,fake book style reading,and songs that the students like....and using my 10 years experience to design a program that is geared toward the students needs. It is my goal to get each student to their goal in a timely manner. My experience as a real life musician will help those seeking a career in performance, teaching, and practice methods. I have developed my own method of using lots of finger numbers, hand positions, and other techniques to get my students to become their own monitors in completely understanding each piece of music.
