I'm a young and highly motivated music instructor who loves teaching those interested in learning more about music. I graduated from West Chester University in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. My main instrument is percussion, but I have plenty of experience with several other instruments as well including voice, piano, and trumpet.
I started teaching way back when I was in high school. I was the section leader for my schools percussion section and I would work with other students in my section helping them to get better. Since then I have been teaching lessons out of my own studio to any and all with an interest in music.
My philosophy for teaching music remains the same for each student. I want all of my students to learn and understand the fundamentals that are vital for success, but I also want my students to tell me what their interests are so I can tailor my lesson plans to suite their interests.
Many new students are intimidated by learning about music because it seems so difficult. I'm here to tell you that is not true. Sure, becoming a sucessful musician takes hard work and practice, but anyone with a desire to learn can achieve. As a teacher I will guide you step by step through the processes necessary to reach your musical goals whatever they may be.
