I have been playing guitar, bass, singing, recording and playing live for 25 years. My roots are in hard rock and metal.I have since expanded to jazz and funk. I attended the Atlanta Institue of music. My teaching is about technique and the spiritual journey of playing music.
I started teaching my son when he was 10 years old, Since then I have taught many friends, students and family. I believe in guiding the player but also giving them the freedom to explore.
Playing any instrument takes hard work and passion. Everyone has thier own style and gift. The philosophy is just as important as the technique. My approach is about discovering the style and passion within the player. The technique will come with practice.
* Ear training, Creating melodies and basic chord structure for the Novice. * Intermidate players I focus on style and tightening of techniques. Discovering a players personal sound utilizing strengths and working on opportunities.
